Beaumaris Kelpies are selected for their natural working ability and are bred to work sheep, feeder steers, breeders and trade cattle.

All dogs have a calm nature, a willingness to comply and show the necessary traits to assist in every day work e.g. cast, cover and hold.

Prior to moving to the Limestone Coast, Dave and Kirilie Turner worked on pastoral properties in northern South Australia, Northern Territory, the Kimberley region and the Channel country of Queensland exposing them to varying techniques in stock management.

Dave and Kirilie currently manage a 7000 acre property at Padthaway and also own 1000 acres at Stewarts Range near Naracoorte in South Australia.

The right Beaumaris Kelpie will assist with calm, efficient livestock handling reducing stress on stock and the handler.
